I would like to take a few moments to put out a warning about the new windows 10 update in reference to the cry me virus. The new windows 10 update in an effort to combat the make me cry virus shuts off smb1 feature in windows . as most of you may or may not know this feature is key in most scanning abilities when it comes to scan to file . If you find that all of a sudden your scan to folder is not working one of the things you can do is check to make sure windows features is turned on after you preform the update, if it is not turn it back on once you are sure it is turned on proceed to make sure that SMB1 is activated by clicking on windows features . Now this dose not mean that if you are having scanning problems that this is the sole cause it is simply a starting point to consider in your trouble shooting process .
